On another note.....

So I haven't posted ANYTHING for this month's challenge...and there a good excuse....I've been lazy! : ) Actually a LOT has been going on this month and I've been super busy. First my camera broke...so that's a good excuse right there, then I got a camera and my internet was down for a few days. Then I went out of town to my good friends wedding, so I was busy with that. (but while gone I got to see the fabulous Stephanie who inspired me to start this blog...and yes she's as fabulous in real life as her blog makes her seem!) So here I am with only a week left in the month and I'm still not going to do the challenge : P Sorry. I may post stuff latter this week, but I have a VERY important question to ask the crafty bloggers out there who may stumble upon my blog. We got approved for a home loan that needs a LOT of TLC and work. Most of it we are contracting out, but then there is the decorating part : D That will be a lot of fun. I have a few ideas but need some more. I bought these for my girls room. Well I didn't buy the butterfly shelves, but the other two items I did buy. I love the bright fun colors of the Dream Wall world. (and of course the sparkels, even though you can't see it in the pictures).

So my question for inspiring crafty women out there is what else? What color do I paint the room? I'm not sure I want to go with the whole room butterfly theme. I also have these that will go in the girls' room, I but everything else I can do away with.

They are almost 3 and 5. I want something that will last a few years (like 5) where I don't have to spend a ton of money and can easily change designs as the girls get older. So what thoughts/ideas do you have?

  1. Hmmmm... I am so afraid of color on the walls because I am the kind of person that gets sick of a color very soon after it becomes permanent! My bed is always made with a white duvet and I change the throw pillows because its easier (and cheaper) than changing the duvet every couple months!

With that said, I HATE white walls. I love the color of my walls (same as my moms house, if you remember that). Its warm, yet neutral so goes with anything.

But with that said, those DREAM letters look dang cute against that blue...

See, I am no help with paint colors. I suck at that part.

As far as their bedding goes, I would pick a solid color comforter and then find fun sheets. Again, its easier to change sheets than a comforter. Maybe a pink comforter with green gingham? Or let let each pick a color gingham for their sheets? I dont know...

Look at me being no help at all!
